Two ladies from Germany and Hungary visited us and we were able to go to Windsor Castle...unfortunately the Queen was at another location. We still had a great time seeing the castle and grounds. Beautiful!!!!
We had a wonderful time serving our cabinet, fellow colleagues, Ed. Services team and more during the 10 day meetings in Horsham. Mary was blessed with several ladies who helped in the kitchen and then we went for tea.
Some of our wonderful ladies that Mary worked with during the banner making years wanted to have a cooking class North American style. So we organized a morning to make quiche, biscuits, butter tarts and broccoli salad. Yummy...we all enjoyed it so very much!
Some of our colleagues decided to take the day to see the jousting events at one of the castles nearby. It was great fun to see the events and also to enjoy the gardens and castle as well. Great fun!!!
Spending time in the Toronto area was great fun with Mary's two sisters and brother-in-law. We spend a night with Sue and Steve and then some time with Jean sorting out business things. The time was filled with business but also some fun.
Celebrating with family for Jean's birthday as well as Jean and Wills on their 1st anniversary. Lunch together was great and they went out for dinner together later. Glad to be part of family celebrations.
Billy & Megan were able to purchase their first new home (actually the house is 100 years old but has been totally renovated). We were able to help with painting and tearing down walls and dry walling. Billy had injured his leg in early June so he was careful to make sure he didn't twist his leg while moving or fixing things up. It was great to be able to help out.
